These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of AIDriveSmart. By registering an account, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. The Service

AIDriveSmart is a platform that connects learner drivers ("Students") with independent driving instructors ("Instructors") in the UK. We facilitate booking, payment, and communication but do not employ Instructors, who remain independent contractors responsible for the driving tuition they provide.

2. Eligibility

Students must hold a valid UK provisional or full driving licence. Instructors must hold a valid DVSA Approved Driving Instructor (ADI) badge or trainee licence and appropriate insurance, and are subject to admin verification before receiving bookings.

3. Bookings and Payments

• Lesson prices are set by each Instructor. Payment is taken via Stripe at the time of booking.
• A platform commission is retained from each completed lesson before the Instructor payout.
• Block booking packages are non-transferable between Instructors unless otherwise agreed.

4. Cancellations and Refunds

Lessons cancelled more than 24 hours before the scheduled start time are eligible for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may not be refunded, at the Instructor's discretion, to compensate for lost teaching time. Refunds are processed back to the original payment method via Stripe.

5. Conduct

Users must treat each other with respect. We may suspend or terminate accounts that engage in harassment, fraud, fake reviews, or unsafe driving practices reported to us.

6. AI Assistant

The AI chatbot provides general guidance only and does not replace professional driving instruction or DVSA guidance. Booking actions taken via the chatbot are subject to the same cancellation and payment terms as bookings made through the website.

7. Liability

AIDriveSmart is not liable for the quality of tuition provided by independent Instructors, for vehicle roadworthiness, or for accidents occurring during lessons, which remain the responsibility of the Instructor and their insurer. To the extent permitted by law, our liability for platform errors is limited to the fees paid for the affected booking.

8. Termination

You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
